The AMT-700 performs leak detection based on the pressure decay (direct pressure) method, which is one of the most common and efficient sealing test techniques. During testing, the instrument fills the workpiece with compressed air until the set pressure is reached, then shuts off the air supply, isolates the pressure, and precisely measures the pressure decay (loss) over a defined period. If the pressure loss exceeds a preset threshold, the product is judged to have a leak. The sensitivity and accuracy of this method are closely related to the test volume and test time; by optimizing parameters, highly reliable test results can be obtained within a short time.
