The AMT-600D performs leak detection based on the differential pressure method, which is one of the widely used and highly accurate sealing test techniques. The instrument uses a high‑precision differential pressure sensor to measure pressure changes between a reference volume and the test part. The reference volume can be either an internal standard cavity or a verified non‑leaking product. When the reference volume remains stable, this method effectively compensates for any environmental pressure or temperature changes that affect both sides simultaneously. Because the differential pressure sensor pressurizes both sides at the same time, it achieves good measurement resolution and low leak rate detection capability. The static test pressure itself has little effect on the measurement result, while an integrated absolute or relative pressure sensor monitors the system test pressure and checks for major leaks, ensuring safe and reliable testing.
